Officers and soldiers of the Regional Defense Command 3 - Quy Chau help people overcome the consequences of storms and strong winds.
On the night of July 19th, strong winds and tornadoes accompanied by heavy rain struck the communes under the jurisdiction of the Zone 3 Defense Command - Quy Chau, causing damage to property and crops. 70 regular army officers and soldiers, along with local militia members, coordinated with the local people to mitigate the consequences of the storm.

In Quyet Thang hamlet, Nghia Hung commune, a falling tree injured two children, Nguyen Huu Quan and Nguyen Tien Dung (both born in 2011), who had to be taken to Tay Bac Hospital (Nghe An) for emergency treatment.
In the communes of Quỳ Châu, Nghĩa Khánh, and Mường Quàng, 20 houses had their roofs blown off or collapsed. Many roads in the area were blocked due to fallen trees; dozens of hectares of crops and acacia trees belonging to local people suffered heavy damage.
On the evening of July 19th, the Command of Defense Zone 3 - Quy Chau directed the Military Commands of communes and wards in the area to assess the situation and organize rescue forces for the people, focusing on repairing houses that had completely collapsed or had their roofs blown off to ensure the safety of the people; clearing fallen trees that were obstructing traffic...

On the morning of July 20th, the Command of Defense Zone 3 - Quy Chau continued to send officers to the affected areas to assess the situation; mobilizing 70 officers and soldiers from the Command of Defense Zone 3 - Quy Chau and militia from the communes and wards to help people repair houses and clear fallen trees to reopen roads.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hoang Nhat, Commander of the Regional Defense Command 3 - Quy Chau, said: "Currently, we are focusing our forces on helping people overcome the consequences of the natural disaster. This includes assisting households whose houses have had their roofs blown off or collapsed, ensuring people have temporary accommodation, and clearing fallen trees on roads to ensure traffic flow. At the same time, the Regional Defense Command continues to inspect, assess the situation, and prepare all response plans for Typhoon No. 3."
