(Baonghean.vn) - From May 20th to 24th, young people from the Border Guard Posts of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port, Dien Thanh, Ngoc Lam, and Quynh Thuan (Nghe An Border Guard Command) actively helped the people harvest rice and peanuts, and joined hands in cleaning up the sea.

Specifically, the Youth Union of the Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Youth Union of Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town, organized a cleanup campaign along the coastline in Nghi Thuy Ward. Youth Union members from both units cleaned approximately 2km of beach with over 200 participants.
This activity aims to encourage local people to raise their awareness and responsibility, working together to protect the marine environment, respond to climate change, and protect public health. It also contributes to effectively promoting the pioneering and voluntary role of youth union members, young people, and border guard officers and soldiers in participating in protecting the living environment and maintaining the clean, green, and beautiful beaches of Cua Lo tourist area.

During this period, nearly 60 officers and soldiers from the Ngoc Lam, Dien Thanh, and Quynh Thuan border guard posts actively participated with local farmers in harvesting and transporting rice and peanuts.
In addition, the youth of these units have also implemented many practical activities such as the "Youth joining hands to build new rural areas" movement, helping people develop the economy, helping people build houses, and building rural roads...
