(Baonghean.vn) - First planted in 2003, after nearly 20 years, Shan Tuyet tea trees have affirmed their superiority in the land of Huoi Tu and Muong Long (Ky Son). This season, tea buds sell for a good price, the harvest atmosphere is bustling and bustling from the fields.

Shan Tuyet tea is harvested 3 to 4 times a year. In late March and early April, people start picking the first crop of tea (when the tea has the highest quality), the second crop in May and June (the crop with the highest yield of the year), the third crop in August and the fourth crop in October to November. Mr. Denh Ba Long - Chairman of the People's Committee of Huoi Tu commune said: Tea trees are currently the main crop in the commune with an area of ​​400 hectares, of which 280 hectares are generating income. The whole commune currently has about 200 households growing tea, of which 6 villages have nearly 100% of households growing tea, namely Huoi Kha, Huoi Khe, Pa Xac, Huoi Mu, Trung Tam and Huoi Dun.
