Man bites police officer after being reprimanded for disrespectful behavior towards his mother-in-law.
The investigating agency determined that Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa (44 years old) assaulted a police officer from the ward when she was being reprimanded for verbally abusing her mother-in-law and pushing her grandchild.
On April 28, Ms. Hoa was charged and taken into temporary custody by the Bac Tu Liem District Police for investigation of a crime.Resisting a public official.

According to the police, on the evening of April 20th, when summoned by the police to clarify her actions of assaulting her mother-in-law and causing injury, Mrs. Hoa went to her husband's house, verbally abused him, and demanded that he withdraw the complaint. Unable to stop his wife, her husband called the Minh Khai Ward police to report the incident.
When the police arrived, Mrs. Hoa stopped cursing at her mother-in-law but remained uncooperative and chased everyone out. Seeing her husband's nephew filming with his phone, she pushed him out the door, causing him to fall into the yard.
Authorities allege that upon seeing the police officer from the ward writing up a report of the incident, Ms. Hoa lunged at him, snatched the report, crumpled it up, and threw it in the trash. When restrained, she continued to bite the officer's hand and assault him.
