A dairy farming association needs to be established.
(Baonghean.vn) - This was a proposal made by the Chairman of TH Group during a meeting with Comrade Lai Xuan Mon - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, during his visit to the wood processing factory andTH Group's clean agricultural production models, January 9, 2017.
After 7 years of construction and development, TH Group's project has demonstrated multifaceted success. Besides supplying the market with 55 types of fresh, clean milk products, the project has created jobs for over 1,000 workers, mostly children of farmers in the project area. Simultaneously, the project has generated significant income for farmers in Nghia Dan district and neighboring districts and towns, with total revenue of approximately 100 billion VND per year from purchasing straw, rice husks, and corn as feed for dairy cows.
Currently, TH Group is also collaborating with farmers in several provinces and cities to implement projects for the production and processing of clean food.

The development of TH Group represents the sustainable development of the agricultural sector by operating according to the trend of land consolidation, training farmers' skills, building raw material areas, and building Vietnamese agricultural product brands - especially fresh milk products - in domestic and international markets.
However, in practice, some regulations and policies for agricultural products are unsuitable, hindering production development and causing difficulties for farmers and businesses investing in agriculture.

From the perspective of a major investor in the agricultural sector, Ms. Thai Huong, Chairwoman of the group, proposed to the Farmers' Association the revision of the National Technical Standard for Liquid Milk (QCVN 5-1:2010/BYT), which is outdated, confusing for consumers, creates a lack of transparency in the milk market, and harms consumers' right to full information and the right to choose. She also requested the Association to protect the standards for school milk and to monitor this issue.
At the same time, the leader of TH Dairy Group proposed that the Vietnam Farmers' Association act as the focal point for establishing a Dairy Cattle Farming Association to help individual dairy farming units and households have a place to meet and exchange information on technical issues in dairy farming and fresh milk production.

In a discussion with the leaders of TH Group, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon stated that TH Group's proposals coincided with his own concerns and those of the leaders of the Vietnam Farmers' Association. The Association will soon submit proposals to the Government and relevant ministries and agencies regarding the amendment and implementation of policies related to agriculture, farmers, and rural areas, including policies on dairy farming, processing, and consumption of milk.
“More than ever, the Party and the State need more appropriate mechanisms to reorganize production, consolidate land, promote linkages in production, and place businesses at the center and as the driving force for development. The Vietnam Farmers' Association will act as the central link connecting businesses with farmers, and farmers with other farmers,” said the Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association.
