Nghe Tinh Port welcomes first tons of cargo in 2025
On the morning of January 1, 2025, at Cua Lo Port, Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to receive the first shipment of the new year and held a ceremony to launch production in 2025.
According to the reporter's records, on the first day of the new year 2025, the working atmosphere at Nghe Tinh Port was very lively with many containers being loaded and unloaded. There were 2 international ships docking at the port to unload goods on the first day of the year, including the Chang Xia ship, Chinese nationality with a total weight of 14,000 tons and the Jiali ship from Panama with a total weight of 13,000 tons, both ships transported potash to China.

The first cargo code unloaded on the first day of 2025 created a vibrant competitive atmosphere among officers and employees, starting a year of continued successful production and business for Cua Lo Port as well as Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company.

In 2024, despite the difficult context, Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company has achieved many achievements in production and operation. Cargo output in 2024 reached 4.3 million tons, reaching 100.39% of the 2024 plan.
Compared to the same period in 2023, in 2024, some goods passing through the port increased as follows: Fertilizer output of all kinds in 2024 reached 1 million tons, an increase of 33.32% compared to 2023. Agricultural products output in 2024 reached 200,000 tons, an increase of 75.75% compared to the same period in 2023.

Revenue from production and business activities in 2024 will reach over 200 billion VND, reaching 103.87% of the 2024 plan.
In 2024, the Company has fully paid the State Budget as prescribed. Pre-tax profit is estimated at VND 20.7 billion, reaching 103.80% of the 2024 plan.

Based on the results achieved in 2024, Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company determined that in 2025 it will focus on market activities, introducing measures to attract customers such as improving service quality, sharing difficulties with customers; combining with container shipping lines to provide additional value-added services to attract more transit goods from Laos, Northeast Thailand and Western Nghe An through the port.
In 2025, Nghe Tinh Port Joint Stock Company plans to reach 4.6 million tons of cargo through the port.
