According to the leaders of Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, they recently discovered a number of fake train tickets that passengers had purchased through intermediaries. The names and identification numbers of the passengers on these tickets are not registered in the railway's electronic ticketing system. These tickets are invalid and passengers will not be able to board the train.
Specifically, on December 11th and 12th, passengers came to Saigon Station requesting verification of eight train boarding passes. The Saigon Railway Transport Branch checked these passes and discovered that the passengers' names and identification numbers did not match the railway's electronic ticketing system. The boarding passes were printed on A4 paper, and the form was very similar to the railway's official form.
To protect the rights of passengers, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company advises people not to buy tickets through touts, the black market, outside of train stations, websites not affiliated with the railway industry, or fraudulent agents, as this will cause financial losses for passengers and prevent them from traveling by train.
"Passengers who have not yet purchased tickets should access the official ticket sales website of Vietnam Railways Corporation at this address."http://dsvn.vn"Or you can book tickets at train stations, ticket counters, or company agents to find out information about train schedules, fares, and other regulations," the leader of Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company emphasized.
Specifically, when purchasing tickets, passengers must present valid identification documents; passengers must have a valid "train boarding pass" with personal information matching the information on the pass in order to board the train.
