Flood warnings issued for many areas in Nghe An province.
According to forecasts, heavy rain lasting from last night until this morning (August 17th) may cause flooding in many localities in Nghe An until noon on August 18th.
According to the Nghe An Meteorological and Hydrological Station's bulletin broadcast at 5:15 AM this morning (August 17th): In the past 6 hours (from 11 PM on August 16th to 5 AM on August 17th), Nghe An province experienced moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain. Rainfall measured at automatic rain gauge stations included: Hoang Mai: 76.4mm.

The Nghe An Meteorological and Hydrological Station warns that this rainfall poses a high risk of flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas, and along rivers and streams in Nghe An province.
Duration of flooding:It is likely to last until noon on August 18th.
Maximum flood depth:0.2-0.5m, in some places higher than 0.6m
