According to forecasts, heavy rain lasting from last night to this morning (August 17) could cause flooding in many localities in Nghe An until noon on August 18.
The news released at 5:15 this morning (August 17) by Nghe An Hydrometeorological Station said: In the past 6 hours (from 11:00 p.m. on August 16 to 5:00 a.m. on August 17), Nghe An province has had moderate rain, heavy rain, and heavy rain in some places such as: Rainfall measured at automatic rain gauges: Hoang Mai: 76.4mm.

Nghe An Hydrometeorological Station warns that this rain has a high risk of causing flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas, and riverbanks in Nghe An province.
