According to analysis from security experts at Malwarebytes, this scam typically requires users to pay with cryptocurrency in exchange for early access. After the victim completes the transaction, the website asks them to enter a Transaction ID to confirm and unlock the download link.
The system even displays a QR code, verification message, and a large download button to increase credibility. However, after completing the steps, users realize they have been scammed and no content is downloaded. The use of cryptocurrency makes it easy for fraudsters to remain anonymous and makes it almost impossible for victims to recover their lost money.
