Police raided and arrested 28 people playing dice in a karaoke bar
Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have just busted a gambling den in the form of dice shaking in a karaoke bar, arrested 28 people, and seized nearly 300 million VND.
On March 5, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the Criminal Police Department had just dismantled a large-scale dice gambling den in Quang Xuong district.
Accordingly, at around 1:00 a.m. on March 4, under the direct direction of the Director and Chief of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency, the Criminal Police Department dismantled a large-scale gambling den, catching 28 subjects red-handed gambling in the form of dice shaking at the Hoang Gia karaoke bar owned by Ha Dinh Dung (aka Dung Huy, born in 1997) in village 8, Quang Thai commune, Quang Xuong district.
At the scene, the authorities seized 279 million VND and many other related exhibits.
Thanh Hoa Provincial Police determined that this was a professional gambling ring, with many criminals with criminal records from many other localities coming to gamble.
Of the 28 subjects caught red-handed, 19 subjects were in Quang Xuong district, 8 subjects were in Thanh Hoa city and 1 subject was in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province.
At the police station, the suspects confessed that this gambling den was organized by Le Sy Hao (born in 1991); Le Sy Dung (homeowner), Tran Kim Danh (born in 1986) in Quang Thai commune and Trinh Ngoc Xuan (born in 1979) in Quang Luu commune, Quang Xuong district.
In which, Le Sy Hao and Tran Kim Danh played the role of calling gamblers to Le Sy Dung's karaoke bar to gamble. Trinh Ngoc Xuan lent the gamblers credit.
The case is currently being investigated and expanded by the police.
