Traffic police chase "sand bandits" on Lam River

At 8:00 p.m. on April 10, after receiving information from the people that on Lam River, below Nam Dan Bridge (Nam Dan town), there was an iron-hulled ship illegally mining sand, the patrol and control team of Nam Dan District Police, including the Traffic Police - Traffic Police and the General Investigation Team, deployed forces to approach the above area.

Here, the authorities discovered an iron-hulled motorboat with registration number VS 1303.1731 operated by Mr. Ngo Cong Thanh (born in 1973) was directly pumping sand from the Lam River onto the ship. Upon verification, the location of the boat was outside the licensed mining area, so the working group requested the owner of the vehicle to stop operations for inspection.
