Undercover police arrest 7 people carrying guns into the forest
On the morning of May 4, Dak Lak Provincial Police said that they had just arrested 7 subjects carrying 4 guns and 560 bullets into the forest in Cu Klong commune, Krong Nang district for hunting.
The arrested subjects include: Trieu Van Anh (32 years old), Nguyen Ngoc Khanh (31 years old), Ma Minh Huan (32 years old), Hoang Van Thuong (45 years old), Le Van Dai (27 years old), Ngo Van Hoat (25 years old) and Hoang Van Su (32 years old), all residing in Krong Nang district.
Previously, through the work of grasping the area, Dak Lak Provincial Police discovered many subjects regularly using military weapons in the forest in Cu Klong commune for hunting.
On May 1, Dak Lak Provincial Police coordinated with Cu Klong Commune Police to ambush and arrest the group of 7 people mentioned above when they were carrying 4 guns and 560 bullets into the forest to hunt animals.
Initially, the subjects confessed to ordering gun components online and then assembling them at a price of 6 - 8 million VND per gun.
Currently, Dak Lak Provincial Police are requesting an appraisal of the above 4 guns to transfer them to the Security Investigation Agency to handle these 7 subjects according to regulations.
