As of 5:30 PM today, September 25, 2025, the price of domestic gold bars decreased by 600,000 VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices compared to yesterday. Specifically:
The price of SJC gold bars, as listed by DOJI Group, is 132.5 - 134.5 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) and PNJ is also 132.5 - 134.5 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 133.5 - 134.5 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, the price of gold bars was traded at 132.5 - 134.5 million VND/ounce (buying - selling).

Silver prices this afternoon, September 25th: Domestic prices increased, global prices decreased.
As of 5:30 PM on September 25th, domestic and international silver prices showed contrasting trends. While domestic silver prices continued to rise slightly, world silver prices recorded a downward trend.
At Ancarat Precious Metals Company, 2024 Ancarat 999 silver bars (1 tael) are traded at 1.674 - 1.712 million VND/tael. For 1kg, the price of silver bars is 44.640 - 45.654 million VND/kg, while 2025 Ancarat 999 silver ingots (1kg) are listed at 43.924 - 45.074 million VND/kg.
Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group also adjusted prices upwards. Silver bars and 999 silver ingots (1 tael) are both priced at 1.680 - 1.732 million VND/tael, an increase of 5,000 VND/tael compared to the morning of September 24th. For 999 silver ingots (1kg), the trading price is 44.799 - 46.186 million VND/kg, an increase of 133,000 VND/kg.

On the global market, the spot price of silver at 5:30 PM (Vietnam time) was $43.83 per ounce, down $0.19 from yesterday. Earlier, silver had reached a multi-year high of $44.47 per ounce.
According to expert James Hyerczyk, this slight decline is merely a temporary correction, as the market awaits important economic data, including the PCE index to be released at the end of the week. He believes that silver not only benefits from the Fed's loose monetary policy but also has strong demand in the electrification and solar energy sectors.
Although the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds has risen, curbing short-term gains, the long-term trend for silver remains positive.
USD exchange rate on the afternoon of September 25th: Both domestic and international rates increased.
On the afternoon of September 25th, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate at 25,191 VND/USD, an increase of 5 dong compared to yesterday.
With a margin of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate is set at 26,451 VND/USD and the floor exchange rate at 23,931 VND/USD.
At the State Bank of Vietnam's Exchange Department, the reference exchange rate remained unchanged at 23,982 - 26,400 VND/USD.
At commercial banks this morning, the USD exchange rate saw a slight increase of 5-10 dong compared to the previous session. At 5:30 PM, Vietcombank listed the rate at 26,200 - 26,450 VND/USD, an increase of 5 dong in the buying rate.
BIDV listed the exchange rate at 26,240 - 26,450 VND/USD, an increase of 5 dong in both directions. Currently, the lowest buying price for USD is 26,200 VND/USD and the highest is 26,240 VND/USD, while the common selling price is 26,450 VND/USD.
In the free market, the USD exchange rate rose sharply this morning, adding 50 dong in both directions, trading around 26,490 - 26,590 VND/USD.

Internationally, the DXY index rose 0.60% to 97.85 points, indicating a stronger USD against several other currencies. Specifically, the USD increased 0.83% to 148.85 yen, its highest level in three weeks, and the Swiss franc rose 0.54% to 0.795, while the EUR fell 0.69% to 1.1734 USD. The British pound also lost 0.58%, to 1.3443 USD.
Among commodity currencies, the New Zealand dollar fell 0.79% to $0.581 following the appointment of a new Reserve Bank governor. The Australian dollar declined 0.29% to $0.658 as August inflation rose to 3%, exceeding forecasts and putting pressure ahead of the upcoming policy meeting.
Pepper prices today, September 25, 2025: Domestic prices remain unchanged.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Therefore, the average domestic pepper price is between 148,000 VND/kg and 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Lam Dong (formerly Dak Nong) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 149,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is 150,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai also remains unchanged from yesterday at 150,000 VND/kg.
In addition, the price of pepper in Binh Phuoc today remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 148,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 25th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices fell slightly compared to yesterday, reaching US$6,984/ton (down 0.27%). Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also decreased slightly compared to yesterday, reaching US$9,897/ton (down 0.26%).
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,700/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$12,900/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.
Coffee prices today, September 25, 2025: Rising sharply again.
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, September 25, 2025, increased sharply compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 113,200 and 114,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at the highest price of 114,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 3,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 114,500 VND/kg, an increase of 3,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by 3000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 114,200 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee increased by 2700 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 113,200 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, online robusta coffee futures contracts for November 2025 delivery reached $4231 per ton, up 0.28% ($12 per ton) from yesterday. The January 2026 contract rose 0.33% ($14 per ton) to $4199 per ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 1.48% (5.45 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 373.2 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 1.51% (5.25 US cents/pound), reaching 353.65 US cents/pound.
On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery fell 0.3% (1.35 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 438.2 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract fell 0.04% (0.2 US cents/pound), reaching 434 US cents/pound.
Oil prices today, September 25, 2025: Slightly lower due to profit-taking.
World oil prices edged lower on September 25 as investors took profits and worried about weakening demand in the winter, along with the return of supply from Kurdistan.
On the afternoon of September 25th, Brent crude oil prices fell 0.7% to $68.82 per barrel, while US WTI crude oil fell 0.8% to $64.45 per barrel. The previous day, both types of oil had risen 2.5%, reaching their highest levels since early August, driven by an unexpected drop in US crude oil inventories and concerns about the Russia-Ukraine conflict impacting supply.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 25th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 370 VND/liter to 19,610 VND/liter.
- The price of RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 440 VND/liter, to 20,160 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices decreased slightly by 50 VND/liter, to 18,650 VND/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 80 VND/liter to 18,620 VND/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 70 VND/kg, to 15,200 VND/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
