As of 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, September 27, 2025, the domestic gold bar price increased by half a million VND in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday. Specifically:

The price of SJC gold bars was listed by DOJI Group at 133 - 135 million VND/tael (buy - sell). At the same time, the price of gold bars was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC and PNJ gold bars at 133 - 135 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 134 - 135 million VND/tael for buying and selling. The price of gold bars at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited was traded by the enterprise at 133 - 135 million VND/tael (buying and selling).

Silver price this afternoon September 27, 2025: Strong increase across the board

As of 4:00 p.m. on September 27, silver prices increased sharply, with domestic prices simultaneously adjusting by tens of thousands of dong, while the world price approached the 47 USD/ounce mark, the highest in 14 years.

According to records, the silver price at Phu Quy system on the afternoon of September 27 increased by 46,000 VND for buying and 48,000 VND for selling. Currently, the buying price is 1,763,000 VND/tael and the selling price is 1,818,000 VND/tael.

At Ancarat, silver bar prices also increased by 44,000 VND/tael in both directions, listed around 1,760,000 VND/tael for buying and 1,798,000 VND/tael for selling.

In the international market, spot silver increased sharply to 46.026 USD/ounce, 1.149 USD higher than the previous session. This is the highest level in more than 14 years.

Silver prices are now approaching $47 an ounce, marking a 59% increase since the start of 2025. In comparison, gold prices have increased by just over 40% over the same period, showing that silver's resilience is superior among precious metals.

According to statistics, this is also the strongest annual increase of silver in the past 10 years. The last time silver had a similar strong fluctuation was in 2020, when the price increased by about 44% in just one year. During the same period, the international silver market increased by about 24%.

USD exchange rate on the afternoon of September 27: Free market price increased

On the afternoon of September 27, the USD exchange rate was listed by the State Bank at 25,194 VND/USD, unchanged from the morning.

Eximbank listed 24,709 - 26,453 VND/USD, while ACB maintained 26,200 - 26,453 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous session.

Unlike banks, the free market recorded clear fluctuations. The USD exchange rate fluctuated from 26,571 - 26,661 VND/USD, an increase of 38 VND in both buying and selling compared to the previous session.

The Dollar Index, which measures the strength of the US dollar against a basket of major currencies, fell 29 points to 98.15 points after two consecutive sessions of gains. This development shows that the greenback is showing signs of adjustment in the international market.

Pepper price today September 27, 2025: Domestic price remains unchanged

Pepper prices today, September 27, remain the same as yesterday in all major growing regions. The common domestic purchase price currently ranges from 148,000 to 150,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands region, pepper prices are listed specifically as follows: Dak Lak province at 150,000 VND/kg, Gia Lai province at 148,000 VND/kg and Lam Dong province at 149,000 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Dong Nai both reached 150,000 VND/kg, while in Binh Phuoc the price was 148,000 VND/kg.

In the international market, pepper prices from major producing countries also did not record any changes. According to the update from the International Pepper Community (IPC), the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper remained at 6,945 USD/ton and the price of Muntok white pepper was 9,841 USD/ton.

Malaysia has ASTA black pepper price at USD 9,600/ton, Brazil is at USD 6,500/ton and ASTa white pepper price at USD 13,000/ton.

Regarding exports, Vietnam's black pepper prices have two main levels: the standard grade of 500 gr/l is traded at 6,600 USD/ton and the high-quality grade of 550 gr/l is priced at 6,800 USD/ton. For white pepper, the export price remains stable at 9,250 USD/ton.

Coffee price today September 27, 2025: Price increases again

Domestic coffee prices on the afternoon of September 27 increased again from 2,100 to 2,700 VND/kg, following the opposite trend of fluctuations in the London and New York markets.

In the Central Highlands, coffee purchasing prices fluctuated between 114,300 - 115,700 VND/kg, an increase of 2,100 - 2,700 VND/kg.

Oil price today September 27, 2025: Sharp increase due to Ukraine's attack on Russia

Oil prices rose on Friday after Ukraine attacked Russian energy infrastructure, disrupting fuel exports and pushing Brent above $70 a barrel.

In the afternoon session of September 27 (Vietnam time), oil prices recorded a breakthrough. Brent crude oil closed at 70.13 USD/barrel, up 71 cents (1.02%). US WTI crude oil closed at 65.72 USD/barrel, up 74 cents (1.14%). Both types of oil are heading for their biggest weekly increase since mid-June.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced new retail prices of gasoline and oil, effective from 3:00 p.m. on September 25. Specifically as follows:

- E5 RON92 gasoline price decreased by 370 VND/liter to 19,610 VND/liter.

- RON 95-III gasoline price decreased by 440 VND/liter, to 20,160 VND/liter.

- Diesel oil slightly decreased by 50 VND/liter, to 18,650 VND/liter.

- Kerosene price increased by 80 VND/liter to 18,620 VND/liter.

- Fuel oil price increased by 70 VND/kg, up to 15,200 VND/kg.
