Based on today's USD/VND exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,445 VND/USD), the world gold price today is equivalent to 116.6 million VND/ounce. Currently, the domestic gold price is about 15.4 million VND/ounce higher than the world gold price.

The price of SJC gold bars, as listed by DOJI Group, is 130-132 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) and PNJ is also 130-132 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 131-132 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, gold bars were traded at 130-132 million VND/ounce (buying and selling).

USD exchange rate on the afternoon of September 19th: Banks increased it.
As of 6:00 PM on September 19th, the USD exchange rate fluctuated in opposite directions, with commercial banks showing a slight increase.
The State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate on September 19th at 25,186 VND/USD, unchanged from September 18th.
With a margin of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate is set at 26,445 VND/USD and the floor exchange rate at 23,926 VND/USD.
The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor is currently 23,977 - 26,395 VND/USD (buying rate - selling rate).
At Vietcombank, the USD exchange rate increased by 20 dong in the buying rate, remaining unchanged in the selling rate, listed at 26,185 - 26,445 VND/USD. At BIDV, the exchange rate increased by 27 dong in the buying rate, maintaining the selling rate, currently at 26,205 - 26,445 VND/USD.
On the international market, the US dollar rose for the second consecutive session. The Dollar Index – a measure of the greenback's strength against six major currencies – increased by 0.5%, reaching 97.34 points.
Pepper prices today, September 19, 2025: Remaining stable.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Therefore, the average domestic pepper price is between 147,000 VND/kg and 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Lam Dong (formerly Dak Nong) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is 149,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai also remains unchanged from yesterday at 149,000 VND/kg.
Additionally, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 19th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$7,061/tonne. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$10,006/tonne.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,700/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$12,900/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.
Coffee prices today, September 19, 2025: Slightly decreased by 200 VND/kg.
Domestic coffee prices today, September 19, 2025, in the Central Highlands region decreased slightly by 200 VND/kg in Dak Nong compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 115,800 and 116,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at a maximum price of 116,500 VND/kg, a slight decrease of 200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province remains unchanged from yesterday at 116,500 VND/kg.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged compared to yesterday, trading at 116,200 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday, at 115,800 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, online robusta coffee futures contracts for September 2025 delivery reached $4665 per ton, down 0.06% ($3 per ton) from yesterday. The November 2025 contract fell 2.5% ($111 per ton) to $4336 per ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery fell 0.86% (3.3 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 377.55 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract decreased 1% (3.6 US cents/pound), reaching 357.65 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery fell 0.76% (3.55 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 458.35 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract decreased 0.74% (3.45 US cents/pound), reaching 456.15 US cents/pound.

Oil prices today, September 19, 2025: Falling due to weak fuel demand in the US.
In trading on September 19th, Brent crude oil prices fell 0.3% to $67.27 per barrel, while WTI crude oil also declined 0.3% to $63.38 per barrel. Despite this, both types of oil are still on track for their second consecutive weekly gain.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 18th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 230 VND, reaching a maximum of 19,986 VND/liter.
- The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 208 dong, reaching 20,608 dong/liter.
- The price of E10 RON 95-III gasoline increased sharply by 560 VND, reaching 20,600 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices increased by 62 dong to 18,705 dong/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 176 dong to 18,544 dong/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 40 dong, to 15,130 dong/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
