The price of SJC gold bars, as listed by DOJI Group, is 131-133 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) and PNJ is also 131-133 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 132-133 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, gold bars were traded at 131-133 million VND/ounce (buying and selling).

Silver prices this afternoon, September 21st: Rising sharply, maintaining an upward trend.
Domestic silver prices showed signs of improvement today, September 21st. At Phu Quy Gold, Silver and Gemstone Group (Hanoi), the listed price was 1,653,000 VND/ounce for buying and 1,704,000 VND/ounce for selling. This price is higher than in previous trading sessions, indicating a clear recovery trend.
The situation is similar at many other trading points in Hanoi. Businesses are listing the buying price at 1,372,000 VND/ounce and the selling price at 1,406,000 VND/ounce. The difference between the buying and selling prices remains stable.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the silver market is following the same trend. The listed price is currently 1,374,000 VND/ounce for buying and 1,511,000 VND/ounce for selling.
Not only domestically, but the price of silver is also rising globally. Currently, international silver is trading at 1,136,000 VND/ounce for buying and 1,142,000 VND/ounce for selling. In US dollars, the price of silver is 42.83 USD/ounce, an increase of 0.81 USD compared to the previous morning.
USD exchange rate on the afternoon of September 21st: Declining for the second consecutive week.
As of 5:00 PM on September 21st, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US Dollar at 25,186 VND/USD, a slight decrease of 30 dong compared to the beginning of the week.
Within a ±5% range around the central exchange rate, the buying and selling rates can fluctuate between 23,927 and 26,445 VND/USD.
The State Bank of Vietnam also maintained the reference exchange rate unchanged from yesterday, ranging from 24,977 to 26,395 VND/USD.
At commercial banks, the USD exchange rate remained relatively stable. Vietcombank set the buying rate at 26,175 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,445 VND/USD.
Agribank is trading at a buying rate of 26,220 VND/USD and a selling rate of 26,445 VND/USD.
VietinBank announced exchange rates ranging from 26,280 to 26,445 VND/USD.
Techcombank listed the buying price at 26,121 VND/USD and the selling price at 26,445 VND/USD.
ACB maintained its buying rate at 26,180 VND/USD and its selling rate at 26,445 VND/USD.
SHB also maintained its exchange rate, with a buying rate of 25,060 VND/USD and a selling rate of 26,445 VND/USD.
In the free market, the USD exchange rate today is trading around 26,410 VND/USD for buying and 26,510 VND/USD for selling, unchanged from yesterday morning.
On the international market, the USD Index – which measures the strength of the US dollar against a basket of six major currencies – closed the week at 97.27 points, down slightly by 0.27%.
Pepper prices today, September 21, 2025: Remaining stable.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Therefore, the average domestic pepper price is between 147,000 VND/kg and 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Lam Dong (formerly Dak Nong) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is 149,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai also remains unchanged from yesterday at 149,000 VND/kg.
Additionally, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 21st (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$7,027/ton. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,957/ton.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,700/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$12,900/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.
Coffee prices today, September 21, 2025: Decreased by 9000 VND/kg over the past week.
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, September 21, 2025, remain unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 110,800 and 111,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at the highest price of 111,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province remains unchanged from yesterday at 111,500 VND/kg.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged compared to yesterday, trading at 111,200 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday, at 110,800 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, the online price of robusta coffee futures for September 2025 delivery reached $4353 per ton, down 6.69% ($312 per ton) from yesterday. The November 2025 futures contract fell 7.02% ($312 per ton) to $4153 per ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery fell 4.07% (15.55 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 365.3 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract fell 4.15% (15 US cents/pound), reaching 346.25 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for September 2025 delivery fell 4.74% (21.75 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 436.6 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract fell 1.1% (4.85 US cents/pound), reaching 432.95 US cents/pound.

Oil prices today, September 21, 2025: A week of price declines due to abundant supply.
At the end of the trading week, WTI crude oil was at $62.69 per barrel last weekend, falling to $62.68 per barrel this weekend, virtually unchanged from last weekend's closing price.
Brent crude was at $66.99 per barrel last weekend, falling to $66.68 per barrel this week. Overall for the week, Brent crude saw a slight decrease of $0.31 per barrel, or 0.46%, compared to the previous week.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 18th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 230 VND, reaching a maximum of 19,986 VND/liter.
- The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 208 dong, reaching 20,608 dong/liter.
- The price of E10 RON 95-III gasoline increased sharply by 560 VND, reaching 20,600 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices increased by 62 dong to 18,705 dong/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 176 dong to 18,544 dong/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 40 dong, to 15,130 dong/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
