Casillas: “Zidane's return is the best movie in the world”
Real legend praises former club's decision to reappoint Zidane as coach.
"I always thought that 'Back to the Future 2' was the best second part of a movie in the world, but no, I was wrong. The best second part is the return of Zinedine Zidane to Real Madrid. Good luck," Iker Casillas wrote onTwitter, minutes after his former team Real announced the appointment of Zidane as coach on the evening of March 11.
Casillas was Zidane's teammate for five years, from 1999 to 2006. Together they won a Champions League and a La Liga title. However, they did not have a good relationship as teachers and students. When Zidane took over from Rafa Benitez in early 2016, Casillas moved to Porto.

With Real, Zidane created an unprecedented record of winning the Champions League three years in a row. However, after the French coach left, the Bernabeu team fell into crisis. They were eliminated from both the King's Cup and the Champions League within a week. Zidane's two successors, Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, lost their jobs within just one season.
Zidane's return was greeted with excitement by fans. Former player Alvaro Arbeloa toldAS: "The decision to appoint Zidane is not risky. It is like Michael Jordan's return to the Chicago Bulls. Real needs to end the current bad situation soon to finish the season in the best way, at the same time open the future with optimism. Real will be very happy to have him".
Zidane is the 11th coach to return to lead Real in history. Among them, there are successful ones like Miguel Munoz, Fabio Capello, but most of them are failures, including Leo Bennhakker, John Toshack or Antonio Camacho. The rest, have not left their mark.
Arbeloa believes that it is impossible to predict the future of Zidane and Real at this time. The former Spanish defender added: ""It's a big day for Real, with one of the biggest legends, both as a player and as a coach, returning. Zidane knows the players very well and has been with them for many years. He knows exactly what this team needs and Zidane is the most suitable name Real can choose at this time."
