Nghe Tinh Vi Giam Folk Song Club won third prize on Vietnam Poetry Day

(Baonghean.vn) - On February 11 (January 15, Dinh Dau year), the Nghe Tinh Southern Folk Song Club excellently won 3rd prize for the entire group at the 15th Vietnam Poetry Day in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Vietnam Poetry Day program in Ho Chi Minh City started on February 11, including many cultural activities such as reading, reciting poetry, introducing famous poetry works, poetry clubs... The highlight of the poetry day is the poetry night "Spring of Love".

Vietnam Poetry Day in Ho Chi Minh City had the participation of many clubs of literature, art, poetry, music, painting, folk songs from districts, and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City, including the Nghe Tinh Vi Giam Folk Song Club in the South. With the slogan "Nghe Tinh Vi Giam in the heart of a civilized - modern - affectionate city", the club's program received everyone's attention.

In the poetry night "Spring of Love" held on the night of the Lantern Festival, the Nghe Tinh Vi Giam Folk Song Club started with poems by poet Nguyen Hong Oanh and 3 Vi Giam singing performances (Moi Trau; Mot Long Doi Ban; Ho Khoan Nghe Tinh) that were attractive and captivated the audience. At the end of the poetry night, the Southern Nghe Tinh Vi Giam Folk Song Club was awarded the third prize by the organizing committee.

The participation of the Nghe Tinh Southern Folk Song Club not only contributes to making the Vietnamese Poetry Day in Ho Chi Minh City more rich and solemn, but also gives folk songs as well as the image of the homeland and people of Nghe An a chance to spread more widely among friends.
