Croatian player dies after being hit in the chest by a shot.
Bruno Boban, the Croatian striker, died after being struck in the chest by an opponent's clearance during a third-division match.
Bruno Boban, 25, a player for Marsonia FC, collapsed on the pitch during a match against Slavonija Pozega in the Croatian Third Division.
The incident occurred in the 15th minute, after Boban executed some very skillful maneuvers.

A Slavonija Pozega player, while blocking an attack, deflected the ball into Boban's chest. The impact wasn't strong, and Boban remained unharmed, then slowly collapsed to the ground.
Players from both teams called for a doctor and ambulance onto the field when they saw Boban had fallen unconscious.
Medical attempts were unsuccessful, and Boban passed away approximately 30 minutes later.
Many teammates and fans wept upon hearing the news of Boban's death.
Marsonia currently sits second in the Eastern Group of the Croatian Third Division and is a contender for promotion.
“I want to help the club get promoted to the Second Division, and then to the First Division. Currently, we are competing for the top spot. If we are lucky, and God smiles upon us, we will soon achieve our dream,” Boban confided just before his death.
