According to revealed information, after receiving a loan request from Phu Dong FC, SLNA has allowed U21 players including Phi Ha, Dinh Chau, Van Duc, and Thai Ton to join the Ha Dong team to participate in the National Second Division Tournament starting on May 5.
Among these talents, there are two very notable players: striker Phi Ha, Phi Son's younger brother, and midfielder Bui Dinh Chau, who won the title of 'Best Player of the Tournament' at the 2012 National U17 Finals.

Phu Dong Club has only been established for 2 years, but the team is coached by Le Duc Tuan (son of former coach Le Dinh Chinh), with a model similar to a Japanese club. This is a highly rated name in the 2017 National Second Division with high ambitions and a fairly good quality squad.
Before the new season, the Phu Dong FC leadership has publicly announced the goal of competing in the first division next year. In the list of Phu Dong FC players, there are some very notable faces such as central defender Nhu Thanh (former national player), Cong Manh (former SLNA player).
Playing for a team with a professional and modern organization like Phu Dong FC will help Phi Ha, Dinh Chau, Van Duc, and Thai Ton learn and accumulate a lot of experience through matches in the National Second Division. This period of competition is considered an opportunity for young players from Nghe An to mature more and score points in the eyes of SLNA's leadership.
Before leaving for Hanoi, Bui Dinh Chau shared: "I feel very happy to be loaned by Phu Dong FC. I will definitely fight my best for the team and also hope to be promoted to SLNA's first team."

Also marching north on loan is promising goalkeeper Duong Van Cuong. Unlike his seniors Phi Ha, Dinh Chau, Van Duc, Thai Ton, goalkeeper Duong Van Cuong will guard the goal of the second division team Viettel.
At the national championship for U19 age group, the goalkeeper born in 1999 of U19 SLNA was voted by experts for the title of 'Best player of the tournament'. At the same time, Duong Van Cuong was called up by the Organizing Committee of the National U19 Finals to the list of U19 team selected by Thanh Nien Vietnam newspaper to participate in the international U19 tournament of Thanh Nien newspaper, held at Nha Trang stadium.
Due to Duong Van Cuong's excellent performance in the U19 SLNA team recently, the Viettel coaching board (second division team) tried to convince the Nghe An team to lend the 18-year-old goalkeeper to play in the 2017 National Second Division.
The decision of SLNA's Board of Directors is considered reasonable, because training and playing for a highly disciplined team like Viettel will help Duong Van Cuong become more mature in both his expertise and style on the field and in life. If he knows how to seize the opportunity, the goalkeeper from Yen Thanh (Nghe An) is capable of following in the footsteps of his seniors like Duong Hong Son and Nguyen Manh in the near future.

Thus, after the "Northern march" of Hong Dinh, Duc Thong, Ba Duc, Van Hiep, Huu Tuan, Van Ngoc... wearing the People's Public Security team jersey at the end of 2016, the "storm" of young SLNA players landing in the capital has increased significantly.
Roughly, there are about 11-12 faces from the SLNA U-League generations competing in different colors in the upcoming national second division tournament. It seems that young players from Nghe An are considering the Northern teams as a "promised land" to develop their talents.
