Over 13 billion VND has been invested in repairing the dilapidated bridge in Yen Thanh.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Bau Dai Bridge in Lang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An province), which had deteriorated due to the 2020 floods, has now been rebuilt with an investment of over 13 billion VND.

Bau Dai Bridge is located in Lang Thanh commune, on the road connecting from the town.Yen ThanhThe bridge leading to Duc Thanh commune is in serious disrepair, especially after the historic floods in October 2020, making it even more dangerous for vehicles crossing it.
To ensuretraffic safetyAlong this route, the province has allocated over 13 billion VND in investment capital (including the bridge and roads on both sides of the bridge) to build a new bridge to replace this one.
The bridge is 38 meters long and 8 meters wide, and is expected to be completed in 6 months.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Thanh commune, said: Bau Dai is the source of irrigation water for hundreds of hectares of summer-autumn rice in the commune. Therefore, during the bridge construction, the construction unit ensured that the water flow was unobstructed so that the locality could pump water up to irrigate the rice fields.
