Visitors to the Van Phuc spring flower market (Ha Dong) were astonished by the sight of a peach blossom tree with half its trunk and half its trunk made of driftwood, yet still blooming profusely. It has become the most unusual peach blossom tree currently on display there.

This peach tree is decades old; one side of its trunk is completely decayed, with only the bark remaining, yet it remains firmly attached to the main base.

The owner of the peach tree said that this piece of driftwood was originally a main branch, but it had decayed over the years, leaving only the bark.

This difference gives the peach tree a unique appearance: the driftwood wrapped around the base is soft and resembles a small dragon. Tree enthusiasts can easily preserve this driftwood with a few simple techniques: mix sawdust and glue together to form a wax-like substance, then apply it to this seemingly fragile piece of driftwood.

Because of its unique appearance, the peach tree became the most unusual tree at the Van Phuc Spring Flower Market in 2017.
