For Celine Dion, work has become a safe haven. She returned to music shortly after her husband's death and has maintained a show in Las Vegas. The My Heart Will Go On singer is preparing for a European tour this summer. She will return to Las Vegas to perform in September.

"Rene always said the show must go on. At 48, I lost the love of my life. I miss him so much. I miss him when he was wonderful, not when he was in pain. I can't be selfish. Everyone has to go. I feel at peace."

Celine Dion talks about taking care of her husband during his illness: "It was a very long journey. We lived in hope, then knew there was nothing left to hope for. There were times when I was very scared and he wrote me these lines: 'The end is coming. I feel it'. Now I know a person can feel death coming to them."

Four months after Rene Angelil's death, Celine Dion said she still finds life without her husband difficult. "We feel his presence every day. I'm glad he's finally not in pain anymore," the pop diva said.
