Authorities apprehended a group of men and women who had removed license plates and were speeding in Vinh City.

At 4:30 PM on April 6th, during a patrol, a team from the Traffic Police Department of Vinh City Police discovered a group of over 10 young people, both male and female, riding on 7 motorcycles, most of which lacked license plates and rearview mirrors. Neither the drivers nor the passengers were wearing helmets, and one motorcycle even carried three people...

Implementing coordinated measures, the patrol team promptly intercepted the vehicle and brought several individuals to the headquarters of the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police Department.

Here, the suspects initially confessed that most of them resided in Vinh City, with a few from neighboring areas, all aged between 15 and 20, and some did not have driver's licenses.

Currently, the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police is continuing to take statements from each suspect for investigation and processing, as well as pursuing the remaining suspects.

According to the commander of the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police, recently in Vinh City, there has been a surge in the number of young people riding motorbikes without license plates at high speeds, causing traffic safety disruptions and endangering other road users.

To prevent and promptly handle these individuals, as well as to implement the Prime Minister's Directive 16 on prohibiting large gatherings, the Vinh City Police have developed a plan and deployed patrol forces over the past few days, with the goal of promptly dealing with violators and preventing the situation from escalating into a major problem.
