The 18-year-old German short-distance track and field athlete is a talent being groomed for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Australian Busted Coverage magazine has just announced its poll for the world's most beautiful athlete, with Alica Schmidt taking the top spot.

Alica Schmidt's specialties are the 200m, 400m, and 800m individual events and the 4 x 100m relay. According to German media, the 18-year-old athlete is a member of the athletics team for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which will take place from July 24th to August 9th, 2020.

The German girl just won gold medals in the 200m and 400m with times of 24.83 seconds and 54.25 seconds respectively at the European Athletics Championships.
