Faced with such family circumstances, after finishing high school, Cu Ba Cu did not take the university entrance exam but went to the South to work as a factory worker to send money back to support his family. However, he always worried about the responsibility and duty of a young man to the country.
When the family informed that there was a summonsmilitary service examinationof the commune, Cu Ba Cu immediately returned home and wrote an application to join the army. Although he knew that the family would face many economic difficulties without him as the breadwinner, but with the mindset and determination to change himself to become more mature from the military environment, Cu Ba Cu still decided to become a soldier in the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
Understanding his son's feelings and will to progress, Cu Ba Cu's father shared: "My family only has him as the main worker, but when he decided to join the army, my wife and I supported him and agreed to let him join the army to fulfill his dream. The Mong people are used to hard labor, so we don't have to worry about not being healthy enough to serve in the army. I'm just afraid that he's still young and has little contact, so he will still be confused. I hope that after being trained by the army, he will mature and become a good citizen. When he returns from the army, he will bring back knowledge to help his family and village, and I will be very happy."

However, with the highest determination of leaders at all levels from district to commune and the entire political system involved, the district is determined to complete the assigned target.
The entire district has stepped up the dissemination of the Law on Military Service to all people, thereby continuously raising citizens' awareness and responsibility for the task of protecting the Fatherland. Thereby, firmly grasping the ideological situation and circumstances of each family and citizen recruited for military service, especially those arising after the Lunar New Year.At the same time, well implement the military rear policy, create the best conditions for families and citizens selected to join the army.
