16-year-old boy from Nghe An province makes his mark in American media.

(Baonghean.vn) - 16-year-old Phan Dang Hoang from Nghe An province was featured in Art People magazine on September 8th, one of the leading art magazines in the United States.

Phan Đăng Hoàng, 16 years old, currently studying in class 11 D1 at Huynh Thuc Khang High School in Vinh City, is famous for his realistic portraits of Vietnamese celebrities, and notably for participating in a live show by the beautiful actress Ly Nha Ky.

Recently, Hoang's work and articles were published in Art People, a renowned American art magazine. This magazine consistently features outstanding works of art and architecture from around the world.

The article about Hoang was published in the American newspaper Art People.

Hoang was introduced by a friend to the opportunity to promote his paintings to the world, and Art People magazine was one of the places where he submitted his work. To date, Phan Dang Hoang has become the first Vietnamese person to be featured in this magazine.

After Phan Đăng Hoàng sent two emails to the newspaper, most recently, a representative from Art People responded to him with the message: “Hi Phan, I need a Bio from you. Sorry, never mind. Igore my message.”

The Art People newspaper begins its article with the headline: "Phan Dang Hoang is a 16-year-old freelancer, illustrator, and Vietnamese artist."

In the article, Art People continues: “He started drawing at age 3 and was inspired by his talented grandparents, who have made many contributions to the art of Vietnam. Besides continuing his education, Phan spends almost all his spare time unleashing his creativity in each stroke and each color array.” (Translation: Hoang started drawing at age 3. His grandparents made many contributions to Vietnamese art (Hoang's grandparents were members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association)).

The article is accompanied by a series of drawings of Vietnamese celebrities by Phan Đăng Hoàng, along with the link to Hoàng's personal Facebook page.

Around this time, Hoang received a reply email from Sally Robertson, editor-in-chief of Coloredpencilmag.com, praising his young talent. Specifically, the magazine invited Hoang to submit his work for publication in December of that year.
