Cut off the network of organizing people to stay in Vietnam illegally
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 25, Tri Le Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard issued a decision to prosecute a criminal case for the crime of organizing others to stay in Vietnam illegally to gain illegal profits against Xong Ba Tong, residing in Tri Le commune, Que Phong district.
Previously, at about 3:30 a.m. on March 23, 2024, in the area of National Highway 16 in Na Nieng village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province; Tri Le Border Guard Station, Drug and Crime Prevention Department - Nghe An Provincial Border Guard in coordination with Que Phong District Police, Tri Le Commune Police were performing their duties when they discovered 10 people carrying many household items intending to go to the southern provinces to do business, showing suspicious signs.

Through inspection, 08 people were found to have Lao nationality (4 adults and 4 children), without any identification documents or immigration papers.
Through investigation and verification, Xong Ba Tong (born in 1999), residing in Muong Long village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An, is the person who organized for Lao citizens to stay in Vietnam illegally to make illegal profits at the price of 1.5 million VND per adult; committed the crime of "Organizing for others to stay in Vietnam illegally", as prescribed in Article 348 of the Penal Code of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Currently, Tri Le Border Guard Station, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard has initiated criminal proceedings in accordance with the law and continues to expand the investigation and fight against related subjects.
