Europe is supplying Ukraine with outdated weapons.
A Western journalist pointed out that Europe is supplying Ukraine with outdated, unreliable weapons.

According to RIA Novosti on February 8, journalist Lucas Leiroz wrote in an article for InfoBRICS that Europe is supplying Ukraine with outdated weapons.
"The number of outdated weapons has only recently begun to increase. Spain is sending Ukraine CETEME L assault rifles – a weapon that was retired from service more than 20 years ago due to low reliability. The French Caesar self-propelled artillery has proven to be the worst weapon, with 16 substandard units appearing on the Ukrainian battlefield. Around 1000 mortar rounds from Bulgaria and Romania are also defective,” the article states.
Journalist Leiroz also noted that the same situation applies to all other types of weapons, because Europe is sending outdated weapons, and individual modern weapons cannot play a significant role on the front lines.
"There are many reasons for this. Western industrialists benefit from the removal of decommissioned weapons. This is a good way to save money. Meanwhile, Ukraine is forced to accept everything its allies provide," journalist Leiroz pointed out.
Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Gavrilyuk stated that approximately 70% of the weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are provided by international partners.
Russia believes that supplying weapons to Ukraine would hinder the resolution of the problem, draw NATO countries directly into the conflict, and be "playing with fire."
