A 3-year-old child was run over and killed by a truck in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - While accompanying her mother from a restaurant to the road leading home, a young child was run over and killed by a speeding truck.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:00 AM on March 8th, on Provincial Road 537, in the section passing through Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province.

At that time, a truck with license plate 34C - 057.15 was traveling on National Highway 1A towards Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. Upon reaching Gia My hamlet, it unfortunately ran over a 3-year-old girl (residing in Gia My hamlet, Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) who had just followed her mother from a restaurant to the road to go home.
The accident resulted in the child's immediate death. Upon receiving the report, the police force of Do Thanh commune arrived to secure the scene and notified the Yen Thanh district police.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
