Chau Hong is unleashing its potential and promoting rapid and sustainable development.

Attending and directing the congress were Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with representatives from the leadership of several provincial departments and agencies.

Chau Hong is a newly established mountainous commune formed by merging three former communes of Quy Hop district: Chau Thanh, Chau Tien, and Chau Hong. The commune's Party Committee has 35 subordinate Party organizations with 664 Party members. During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committees of the communes before their merger into the present-day Chau Hong commune focused on leading the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set forth in the Congress Resolution.

With the motto "Inheritance - Convergence - Breakthrough - Development," for the 2025-2030 term, the Chau Hong Commune Party Committee has set 22 targets across various fields, 4 key tasks, and 3 breakthroughs for development, determined to successfully achieve the goals set forth in the Resolution of the First Commune Party Congress, 2025-2030 term, and to build Chau Hong commune into a progressively developing community in this new phase.

Delivering a guiding speech at the congress, Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - praised and congratulated the important achievements that the Party Committee and people of Chau Hong commune have achieved in the past term.

To successfully achieve the goals set forth in the Congress Resolution for the next term, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi suggested that the Party Committee of the commune focus on building unity and solidarity within the Party Committee, government, and mass organizations from the commune to the hamlets; administrative and public service agencies, and armed forces in the area; and building an administration that serves the people, using efficiency and the level of satisfaction of the people and businesses as a measure.

Prioritize sustainable planning, including urgently reviewing and adjusting the overall planning for the new development space of the new commune; clearly define production zones based on the potential and advantages of each locality, such as: sustainable forestry economic development zones, clean agriculture zones, community-based ecotourism development zones, industrial and handicraft clusters for mineral processing... on the basis of which to focus on using resources from national, provincial, business and community-based target programs effectively; at the same time, emphasize development linkages with other communes in the area; focus on definitively resolving existing environmental issues, and prioritize building a safe living environment for the people.

The comrade also suggested that Chau Hong commune should do a good job in sustainable poverty reduction, improve people's lives, and create a breakthrough in economic development based on three main pillars: sustainable forestry economy, clean agriculture, and industry and handicrafts associated with environmental protection. Along with that, the commune needs to promote the new rural development program in a substantive, comprehensive, and sustainable manner, gradually building many villages and hamlets to achieve new rural status; continue to comprehensively develop all cultural and social fields, constantly improving the quality of life for the people; strengthen national defense and security, maintain political stability and social order, and create a peaceful environment for the people…

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that immediately after the Congress, the new Party Committee must urgently develop an Action Program to concretize the Resolution. The Action Program must be scientific, practical, proactive, and highly feasible, in the spirit of "clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear completion time, clear results, and clear accountability." Therefore, the commune needs to select key tasks and breakthroughs to focus on, leading and directing decisively, creating clear changes from the very first days and months of the new term, consolidating the confidence of cadres, Party members, and the people in the leadership of the new Party Committee; and resolutely promoting the rapid and sustainable development of Chau Hong commune.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of 25 comrades to the Chau Hong Commune Party Committee. Comrade Lang Van Van was appointed as Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Comrade Cao The Bao was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee and Chairman of the Commune People's Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
