(Baonghean.vn) - The fire originated in a straw storage shed and then spread to the cow shed, causing significant damage.

At approximately 4:50 PM on May 19th, a fire broke out in a cattle shed at the home of Mr. Tran Van Long in Hamlet 2, Dang Son Commune, Do Luong District.Due to the intense heat, the fire in the straw shed burned fiercely, soaring high into the air.

Upon discovering the fire, Mr. Long's family shouted for help. However, the flames intensified, and the hot weather, combined with the heat from the burning straw, made extinguishing the fire very difficult.

Nearly 50 villagers came to the scene, using buckets and basins to throw water on the fire and connecting hoses to spray it. The women continuously used rakes to pull straw away.

Upon receiving the report, Fire and Rescue Team No. 5 dispatched fire trucks and over 10 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

After nearly an hour of effort, the fire was finally extinguished completely at 6 PM. The 30m2 house had its entire roof destroyed by the flames.

The fire was extinguished successfully, preventing it from spreading to other households, as this is a densely populated area with houses built close together.
