Horrific fire at a confectionery factory in Thanh Hoa province.
The factory has many partitions, and there is a possibility that people are still trapped inside.
Initial information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fire Department indicates that a fire broke out at Trang An Vietnam Confectionery Joint Stock Company, located in Bim Son Town, Thanh Hoa Province, at approximately 8:00 AM this morning.

Residents living near the factory said that about 30 minutes after the company's workers started their shifts, thick smoke billowed out, causing many workers to flee outside.
"The flames rose rapidly, and because there were many partitions, there's a possibility that some workers are still trapped inside the factory," a worker said.

Following the fire, dozens of police officers were dispatched to extinguish the flames. However, due to the dry weather, strong winds, and the highly flammable materials, firefighting efforts are facing significant difficulties.
Subsequently, the army and militia forces were also mobilized to help control the fire and prevent it from spreading to other areas.
Initial reports indicate that the nearly 1,500 square meter factory has been completely destroyed by fire. Estimated damages are around 10 billion VND, and two people remain trapped and are currently being rescued.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
