A major fire broke out at a scrap metal warehouse next to an apartment building in Nghe An province, forcing hundreds of residents to flee.
On the afternoon of July 6th, a scrap metal warehouse near the Trang An 2 apartment complex, Vinh Tan 5 block, Truong Vinh ward, caught fire, causing hundreds of people to panic and flee.
At approximately 1:30 PM on July 6th, residents of the Trang An 2 apartment building, Vinh Tan 5 block, Truong Vinh ward, noticed a column of black smoke rising from a scrap metal warehouse belonging to a neighboring household. Just minutes later, the fire erupted fiercely.
Due to strong winds at the time of the fire, thick black smoke and a burning smell quickly enveloped the area, covering almost all of the two apartment buildings, Trang An 1 and Trang An 2.
Hundreds of residents living in the area panicked and quickly moved out of the area in their vehicles to ensure their safety.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police force of Nghe An province dispatched numerous fire trucks and officers to the scene, coordinating with local residents to extinguish the fire.

By around 2 PM, the fire was largely under control. The fire caused no casualties but destroyed a significant amount of property in the scrap metal warehouse.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
