Passenger bus catches fire on highway section passing through Nghe An.
At approximately 11:40 PM on January 2nd, a passenger bus traveling on the Dien Chau – Bai Vot expressway suddenly burst into flames between the Nghi Phuong interchange and the Than Vu tunnel.
According to initial information, at the time of the incident, the passenger bus (license plate unknown) was traveling towards Hanoi when it suddenly caught fire.
Immediately after receiving the report, authorities arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and extinguish the fire. However, due to the intensity of the blaze, the passenger bus was almost completely destroyed.
Currently, authorities have not released specific information regarding the number of passengers on the bus or the extent of the damage caused by the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities.
