Truck catches fire on highway section passing through Nghe An.
A truck suddenly burst into flames on the Dien Chau – Bai Vot highway section passing through Nghe An province on the evening of January 9th.
At 7:20 PM on January 9th, at Km472+900 on the Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway, in Lam Thanh commune, Nghe An province, a truck with license plate 36H-110.73 traveling in the North-South direction caught fire.
According to initial reports, the fire broke out and spread rapidly, burning many parts of the vehicle; there were no casualties.
Upon receiving the report, authorities quickly arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire and simultaneously organized traffic control and diversion. Vehicles were directed to detour onto National Highway 46B to continue their journey, avoiding prolonged traffic congestion.
Currently, the cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities.
