The new Chevrolet Cruze starts at 589 million VND.

GM Vietnam has started accepting orders for the new Cruze with a retail price of VND 589 million for the LT version and VND 699 million for the LTZ version.

The new version has significant improvements over the previous one.

The American automaker officially introduced the new generation Cruze mid-size sedan to the Vietnamese market.

The car's exterior hasn't changed much from the previous generation, but it's enough to make a difference for consumers. The LED daytime running lights are integrated with new projector headlights, replacing the previous halogen lights.

While there aren't many changes to the exterior, they're enough to make it stand out from the previous generation.

The dual grille features chrome trim and a prominent Chevrolet logo in the center. The rear design is sporty and well-proportioned, with a wide chrome bar positioned above the rear bumper.

The Cruze's strength lies in its spacious interior. The rear seats can be folded 60:40, expanding the cargo space when needed to transport large items.

The spacious interior is a strong point of the Cruze.

The car is equipped with an automatic climate control system and a 6-speaker sound system, convenient trunk release and central door lock buttons, the exclusive MyLink entertainment system with a 7-inch color touchscreen, a smart start system with a Start/Stop button, and an automatic cruise control system.

Safety features have been enhanced with a rearview camera. The LTZ version comes equipped with 4 airbags.

The LED daytime running lights are quite eye-catching.

The new Cruze LT version uses a 1.6-liter DOHC twin-cam engine with electronic fuel injection and variable intake manifold length, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The higher-end LTZ version uses a 1.8-liter DOHC Ecotec engine with variable valve timing and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

GM Vietnam has begun accepting orders for the new Cruze, with retail prices starting at VND 589 million for the LT version and VND 699 million for the LTZ version. Deliveries will begin on November 30, 2016.
