Chevrolet Equinox 2017 - new rival of Honda CR-V

Priced in the US market from 24,475 USD, Chevrolet Eqinox 2017 will compete directly with strong rivals such as Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 or Mazda CX-5.

Chevrolet has just officially announced the price of the Chevrolet Equinox 2017 in the US market, accordingly this model will be priced from 24,475 USD, and compete with Toyota RAV4, Ford Kuga, Honda CR-V or Mazda CX-5.

The 2017 Chevrolet Equinox stands out with a 3-bar grille connected to the headlights and LED daytime running lights, accompanied by a chrome-plated metal trim. At the rear, the taillights are designed horizontally, the single exhaust system is placed symmetrically on both sides to help the car be more balanced.

The car is equipped with a set of 19-inch 5-spoke sport alloy wheels, metal-plated window frames, and rearview mirrors with integrated turn signals. The overall design is relatively large and impressive compared to its competitors.

Inside the cabin, the entertainment system stands out with the 8-inch MyLink infotainment system, integrated with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The second row of seats on the 2018 Equinox can be folded completely flat, creating an extremely spacious space for the rear cargo compartment. Above is a panoramic sunroof. The interior quality has also been significantly improved thanks to much better upholstery materials.

The 2017 Chevrolet Equinox will be offered with three different engine options, including a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces a maximum capacity of 136 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. Next is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 170 horsepower and 275 Nm. Both come with a 6-speed automatic transmission. In addition, there is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine version that produces a maximum capacity of 252 horsepower and a maximum torque of 353 Nm, with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The Chevrolet Equinox L starts at $24,475, the LT starts at $27,645, the LS starts at $28,155, and the top-of-the-line Premier starts at $31,685.
