The Ministry of Finance has just issued a decision on the structure of regional tax offices. Regional Tax Office X includes Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces, with its headquarters in Nghe An.
The Ministry of Finance has just issued Decision 381/QD-BTC stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Tax Department. The decision takes effect from March 1st.
Accordingly, the Tax Department is organized from the central to the local level according to a three-tiered model.
According to Decision 381/QD-BTC dated February 26, 2025, of the Ministry of Finance, local tax offices are organized into 20 regions with offices located in the provinces of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Son La, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Long An, Ben Tre, Can Tho, and Kien Giang.
Thus, the Regional Tax Office X comprises two provinces: Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, with its headquarters in Nghe An.
Previously, the General Department of Taxation had 17 units at the central level and 63 local tax departments.
