Tax Department of Region X, head office in Nghe An
The Ministry of Finance has just issued a decision to restructure the regional tax branches. Regional tax branch X includes Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, with headquarters in Nghe An.
The Ministry of Finance has just issued Decision 381/QD-BTC regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Tax Department. The decision takes effect from March 1.
Accordingly, the Tax Department is organized from the central to local levels according to a 3-level model.
In Decision 381/QD-BTC dated February 26, 2025 of the Ministry of Finance, the local Tax Department is organized into 20 regions located in the provinces of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Son La, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Long An, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Kien Giang.
Thus, Tax Department of Region X includes 2 provinces: Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, with headquarters in Nghe An.
Previously, the General Department of Taxation had 17 units at the Central level; 63 local tax departments.
