The Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper launches the Young Innovators Competition.

As part of the activities celebrating Youth Month and commemorating the 94th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day, on the afternoon of March 28th, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper launched the "Nghe An Newspaper Young Innovators" competition.

Attendees included: Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Dau Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Office of Nghe An Newspaper; and members of the Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union.

Over the past year, the youth union members of the Nghe An Newspaper branch have strived diligently, constantly making efforts to study and improve themselves in terms of professional skills, moral character, and political understanding.

Members of the Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union are a vanguard force in the continuous innovation process of the Nghe An Newspaper. Many young union members have been highly appreciated by the Editorial Board, entrusted with important responsibilities, and many outstanding young union members have won numerous national, industry, and local journalism awards...

To enable the youth members of Nghe An Newspaper to continue demonstrating their pioneering role in all fields, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper is launching the "Nghe An Newspaper Young Innovators" competition to promote the pioneering spirit of young people, improve skills, hone professional expertise, enhance the quality of Nghe An Newspaper's publications, and create an interesting, healthy, and beneficial playground for the youth of Nghe An Newspaper to showcase their talents, professional skills, and creativity in all fields.

The competition will be judged based on two criteria: "spread" and "breakthrough". "Spread" refers to works, news articles, photos, and videos with excellent, unique content that have a significant impact, are highly appreciated by readers, and create a positive effect on society.

Breakthroughs, on the other hand, are new, creative initiatives and ideas with high applicability from the youth union members of Nghe An Newspaper in the fields of administration, technology, and journalistic practices. These could include a new way of working, a new initiative in administrative reform, a new application in print or online journalism, etc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper Pham Thi Hong Toan expressed her hope that the members and youth of Nghe An Newspaper would strive harder, foster creativity, seriousness, and professional skills; balance work and union activities; promote effective teamwork; and maintain a passion for their profession… in order to create quality publications and contribute to the continued strong development of Nghe An Newspaper.

On this occasion, the Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union presented the Decision recognizing Comrade Pham Van Bang as a member of the Executive Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union for the 2016-2018 term, awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union to outstanding members, and commended excellent members for their achievements in the past period.
