Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union launched the Youth Creativity contest

As part of a series of activities to celebrate Youth Month and towards the 94th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on the afternoon of March 28, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper launched the contest "Young Creativity of Nghe An Newspaper".

Attending the event were comrades: Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Dau Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of Office of Nghe An Newspaper and members and youth of Nghe An Newspaper Youth Union.

Over the past year, the Youth Union members of Nghe An Newspaper have strived and continuously made efforts to study and practice both in professional expertise and moral qualities and political level.

The Youth Union members of Nghe An Newspaper are the vanguard force in the continuous innovation process of Nghe An Newspaper. Many youth union members have been highly appreciated by the Editorial Board, given important responsibilities and many outstanding youth union members have won many Central, industry and local press awards...

In order for the youth union members of Nghe An Newspaper to continue to demonstrate their pioneering role in all fields, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper launched the "Young Creativity of Nghe An Newspaper" Contest to promote the pioneering spirit of the youth, improve skills, cultivate professional expertise, improve the quality of publications of Nghe An Newspaper as well as create an interesting, healthy and useful playground for the youth of Nghe An Newspaper to demonstrate their talents, expertise and creativity in all fields.

The contest will be evaluated based on two criteria: “spread” and “breakthrough”. Spreading refers to works, news, articles, photos, and clips with good, unique content, influence, highly appreciated by readers, and creating a positive effect on society.

Breakthroughs are new initiatives, new ideas, and creativity with high applicability of the Youth Union members of Nghe An Newspaper in the fields of administration, technology, and journalism. It could be a new way of working, a new initiative in administrative reform, a new application in print and electronic newspapers...

Speaking at the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper Pham Thi Hong Toan hoped that the union members and youth of Nghe An Newspaper would try harder, promote creativity, seriousness, and improve professional skills; need to balance work and union activities; promote effective teamwork; passion for the profession... to create quality publications, contributing to the increasingly strong development of Nghe An Newspaper.

On this occasion, the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper awarded the Decision to recognize the position of Executive Committee Member, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper for the 2016-2018 term to comrade Pham Van Bang, awarded certificates of merit from the Youth Union of Provincial Agencies to exemplary members, and rewarded outstanding members in the past time.
