Details of 5 checkpoints in Thai Hoa town.
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing social distancing according to Directive 16, Thai Hoa town has established 5 checkpoints to control the movement of people and vehicles in and out of the area, with personnel on duty 24/7 at each checkpoint.
According to information from the Thai Hoa Town Police, the force currently maintains 5 inter-agency checkpoints to inspect and control the implementation.Directive No.16.

Accordingly, five checkpoints were set up at the following locations:
1. Checkpoint on National Highway 48 - Hamlet 1, Nghia Thuan Commune (adjacent to Quynh Chau Commune, Quynh Luu District);
2. Checkpoint on Ho Chi Minh Highway - Trung Yen hamlet, Nghia My commune;
3. Checkpoint at Hitex company, on road 48E - Xuan Yen hamlet, Nghia My commune (the section leading into Nghia Dan town);
4. Checkpoint on Ho Chi Minh Road - Dong Thanh hamlet, Dong Hieu commune (adjacent to Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district);
5. Checkpoint at the entrance gate of Phu My hamlet, Tay Hieu commune (section bordering Nghia An commune, Nghia Dan district).
In addition, there are 3 checkpoints at the border points with Nghia Dan district, including: a checkpoint on National Highway 48, in Nghia Tien commune; a checkpoint at Ba Mam slope, Hoa Hieu ward (bordering Nghia Hong commune, Nghia Dan district); and a checkpoint on Road 15A, Quang Phong ward (bordering Nghia Hong commune, Nghia Dan district), all managed by Nghia Dan district.

The checkpoints operate 24/7 with the task of stopping vehicles and people in the area for medical checks to prevent the spread of Covid-19 (mask wearing, temperature measurement, health declaration, etc.) and to determine the reason for being out during the implementation of Directive 16; issuing administrative violation reports and imposing administrative penalties when detecting cases of going out unnecessarily or not wearing masks in public; and strictly handling cases of non-compliance.

On the first day of implementing Directive 16, through patrol and control activities, the patrol team of Thai Hoa Town Police discovered and advised the People's Committees of wards and communes to issue administrative sanctions for 15 cases of not wearing masks in public places and going out unnecessarily, with a total fine of 30 million VND.
Since June 13th, the province has recorded 876 COVID-19 cases across 21 localities, including 6 in Thai Hoa town.
