Details of 7 historical and cultural relics of Nghe An province in 2018

Comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were Comrade Ho Mau Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture & Sports and 14 members of the Provincial Science Council.

During the meeting, Council members gave many additional opinions and edited some details in the historical and cultural relic records submitted for the second round of 2018 ranking.

These documents have been reviewed and approved three times and have been edited many times to ensure scientific quality, compliance with historical sites and sacredness to the local and foreign communities.

At the meeting, delegates made many contributions to perfect the dossiers. Many members of the council were still concerned about the characters worshiped at the relics, thus raising questions about the type of relics.

Many delegates said that the managing unit, the Department of Culture and Sports, needs to readjust some facilities at places of worship, including parallel sentences, signs, and names of relics.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Minh Thong affirmed that all the relics considered for classification this time are community relics with great spiritual significance. Therefore, although there are opinions to edit some signs and names, in general, these relics have existed for many decades so there is no need to change much. This will satisfy the wishes of the majority of people at the foot of the relics and tourists from near and far.

At the end of the meeting, the Council unanimously voted to approve 7 relics to be recognized as provincial historical and cultural relics in the second phase of 2018. As a result, 14/14 council members unanimously approved 7 dossiers for approval this time.

The relics submitted for consideration this time include:

1. Temple of Prime Minister Nguyen Cong Vinh, Phu Yen village, Dien Hoang commune, Dien Chau district.

2. Duc Thanh Hai Temple, Thanh Xuan Commune, Thanh Chuong District.

3. Yen Lac Thuong Temple, Thanh Ngoc Commune, Thanh Chuong District.

4. Tran Huu Dai Ton family temple, Duc Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

5. Nguyen Dinh family temple, Vinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

6. Tran Huu Dai Ton family temple, Dien Loi commune, Dien Chau district.

7. Le Duy family church and tomb, Hung Loc commune, Vinh city.
