Details of Vinh University's 2018 admission scores.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 6th, Vinh University announced the results of the first round of admissions for regular undergraduate programs in 2018.
This benchmark score includes priority points and regional points according to Circular No. 07/2018/TT-BGDĐT dated March 1, 2018, of the Ministry of Education and Training, amending and supplementing the name and some articles of the Regulations on admission to regular university programs and regular college programs in teacher training fields, issued together with Circular No. 05/2017/TT-BGDĐT dated January 25, 2017, of the Ministry of Education and Training..
Accordingly, this year the highest admission scores for Vinh University are for the Computer Science Education, Physics Education, and Political Education majors, with a cutoff score of 20 points. The Mathematics Education major requires 19 points, while the remaining teacher training majors require the minimum score of 17 points.

Some other majors also have relatively high admission scores of 18 points, including Civil Engineering, Political Science, Political Science (specializing in Public Policy), and Primary Education.
For majors with a 2-point multiplier, the admission scores are quite high. The highest scores are for Physical Education (26.5 points), Early Childhood Education (25 points), and English Pedagogy (24.5 points). The remaining majors at Vinh University range from 13.5 to 14 points. The university will issue separate announcements for candidates from the Northwest, Central Highlands, and Southwest regions.
According to the plan, from August 6, 2018 to before 5:00 PM on August 12, 2018, candidates must submit their National High School Examination score certificates to Vinh University to confirm their enrollment.

Yesterday, Vinh University of Technology and Education also announced the admission scores for its 2018 regular undergraduate programs across 12 majors. Accordingly, the Technology Education major had the highest admission score at 17. The remaining majors had cut-off scores ranging from 13.5 to 14.
