Details of the plan to merge 61 blocks of Cua Lo town
(Baonghean.vn) - After the merger, Cua Lo town has been reduced from 71 blocks to 39 blocks. Accordingly, the whole town has 61 blocks of 7 wards subject to merger.

Cua Lo town has 71 blocks. Based on the criteria of number of households per block, there are 9 blocks reaching 100%, 34 blocks from 50% to under 100% and 28 blocks under 50% must be merged.
Implementing the rearrangement plan, the town merged 61 blocks, of which 33 blocks met over 50% and 28 blocks met under 50% of the criteria on number of households. After the merger, 29 new blocks were formed, of which 25 blocks met 100% and 4 blocks met over 50% of the criteria (the total number of blocks not subject to merger is 10).
Thus, Cua Lo reduced 32 blocks after the merger. At that time, Cua Lo town had 39 blocks left.
