(Baonghean.vn) - After the merger, Cua Lo town reduced its number of blocks from 71 to 39. Accordingly, the entire town now has 61 blocks across 7 wards subject to merger.

Cua Lo town has 71 blocks. Based on the criterion of the number of households in each block, 9 blocks have reached 100%, 34 blocks have between 50% and less than 100%, and 28 blocks with less than 50% must be merged.
Implementing the reorganization plan, the town merged 61 blocks, of which 33 blocks met over 50% and 28 blocks met under 50% of the criteria regarding the number of households. After the merger, 29 new blocks were formed, of which 25 blocks met 100% and 4 blocks met over 50% of the criteria (the total number of blocks not subject to merger is 10).
Thus, Cua Lo reduced its population by 32 blocks after the merger. At that time, Cua Lo town had 39 blocks remaining.
