Details of the number of National Assembly delegates to be elected in Nghe An province for the 16th term, 2026-2031.
According to the Resolution of the National Election Council, Nghe An province has 6 electoral districts, electing 16 National Assembly deputies for the 2026-2031 term.

The National Election Council has just issued Resolution No. 85/NQ-HĐBCQG dated December 15, 2025, on the number of electoral units, the list of electoral units, and the number of National Assembly representatives to be elected in each electoral unit of provinces and centrally-administered cities.
According to the Resolution, the total number of electoral districts for the 16th National Assembly nationwide is 182. Nghe An province alone is allocated 6 electoral districts, electing 16 National Assembly representatives for the 2026-2031 term. Specifically:
Unit No. 1:Includes the following communes: Muong Tip, My Ly, Muong Xen, Nam Can, Huu Kiem, Muong Long, Keng Du, Na Loi, Na Ngoi, Chieu Luu, Huoi Tu, Bac Ly, Nhon Mai, Yen Na, Nga My, Tuong Duong, Tam Thai, Tam Quang, Luong Minh, Yen Hoa, Huu Khuong, Con Cuong, Chau Khe, Mau Thach, Mon Son, Binh Chuan, Cam Phuc, Yen Xuan, Vinh Tuong, Anh Son Dong, Anh Son, Nhan Hoa, Thanh Binh Tho.
The number of elected members of the National Assembly is 3.
Unit 2:Includes the following communes: Tan Ky, Tien Dong, Tan An, Nghia Hanh, Tan Phu, Nghia Dong, Giai Xuan, Do Luong, Bach Ha, Thuan Trung, Bach Ngoc, Luong Son, Van Hien, Dai Dong, Bich Hao, Hoa Quan, Kim Bang, Xuan Lam, Tam Dong, Hanh Lam, Cat Ngan, Son Lam.
The number of elected members of the National Assembly is 3.
Unit 3:It includes the wards: Truong Vinh, Vinh Loc, Thanh Vinh, Vinh Phu, Vinh Hung and the communes: Van An, Kim Lien, Nam Dan, Dai Hue, Thien Nhan, Hung Nguyen, Hung Nguyen Nam, Lam Thanh, Yen Trung.
The number of elected members of the National Assembly is 3.
Unit number 4:It includes Cua Lo ward and the following communes: Trung Loc, Phuc Loc, Than Linh, Hai Loc, Dong Loc, Nghi Loc, Van Kieu, Hai Chau, Quang Chau, An Chau, Tan Chau, Minh Chau, Duc Chau, Hung Chau, and Dien Chau.
The number of elected members of the National Assembly is 2.
Unit number 5:It includes the wards: Hoang Mai, Quynh Mai, Tan Mai and the communes: Van Du, Yen Thanh, Hop Minh, Giai Lac, Quan Thanh, Dong Thanh, Quang Dong, Binh Minh, Van Tu, Quynh Van, Quynh Son, Quynh Anh, Quynh Phu, Quynh Tam, Quynh Luu, Quynh Thang.

Unit No. 6:It includes the wards of Thai Hoa and Tay Hieu, and the communes of Dong Hieu, Nghia Dan, Nghia Khanh, Nghia Tho, Nghia Loc, Nghia Lam, Nghia Mai, Nghia Hung, Chau Loc, Muong Ham, Quy Hop, Chau Hong, Tam Hop, Muong Chong, Minh Hop, Hung Chan, Chau Tien, Quy Chau, Chau Binh, Que Phong, Thong Thu, Tien Phong, Tri Le, and Muong Quang.

According to the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the projected number, structure, and composition of National Assembly deputies for the 16th term, 2026-2031, the total number of National Assembly deputies for the 16th term is 500. The projected structure includes 217 deputies from central agencies, accounting for 43.4%, and 283 deputies from localities, accounting for 56.6%.
The delegation of National Assembly representatives from Nghe An province for the 16th term, 2026-2031, will have 16 National Assembly representatives (7 nominated by central agencies and organizations; 9 nominated by local agencies and organizations), an increase of 3 representatives compared to the beginning of the 15th term, 2021-2026.
Regarding the number of delegates to the Nghe An Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term, after the first consultation, the projected number of delegates is 85, including 53 delegates at the provincial level and 32 delegates at the commune level; to be elected in 20 electoral units.
