The Prime Minister received a pair of sunglasses as a gift from the governor of a province. Because the sunglasses were worth over $200, Mr. Trudeau should have listed this gift in his declaration, but for some reason, he did not. The fine was $100.
According to Trudeau's press secretary, the Prime Minister filled out the declaration form incorrectly.
