Brave police officer jumped into river to save people

(Baonghean.vn) - On his way to work, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong of the Traffic Control Patrol Team of Do Luong District Police bravely jumped into the river to save a woman who was attempting to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge.

At 5:30 p.m. on March 4, while on duty on Highway 15A, passing through Do Luong Bara Bridge, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong of the Traffic Control Patrol Team of Do Luong District Police discovered a woman jumping off the bridge from a height of about 25 meters.

Immediately, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong jumped into the Dao River to save the person. Immediately after bringing Ms. H. to shore, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong promptly performed CPR on the victim and then took her to the commune emergency station.
