Brave police officer jumps into river to save a life.

(Baonghean.vn) - While on duty, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong of the Traffic Control and Patrol Team of Do Luong District Police bravely jumped into the river to rescue a woman who had jumped off a bridge to commit suicide.

At 5:30 PM on March 4th, while on duty on National Highway 15A, near the Do Luong bridge, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong of the Do Luong District Police's traffic control patrol team spotted a woman jumping off the bridge in an apparent suicide attempt from a height of approximately 25 meters.

Immediately, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong jumped into the Dao River to rescue the woman. After bringing Ms. H. ashore, Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Tuong performed CPR on her and then took her to the commune's emergency medical station.
