Soldier of Division 324 returns lost property

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 19, on the way to the training ground, Private Trinh Van Truong - Squad 3, Platoon 7, Company 11, Battalion 9, Regiment 3, Division 324 (Military Region 4), picked up a wallet with more than 2 million VND in Phu Phuong 2 Village, Phu Nhuan Commune, Nhu Thanh District, Thanh Hoa Province.

Checking the wallet, which contained the ID card of Do Thi Phuong - from Phu Nhuan commune, Nhu Thanh district (Thanh Hoa), along with some other personal documents and more than 2 million VND, Trinh Van Truong promptly reported to the unit commander to coordinate with the police and people's government of Phu Nhuan commune, Nhu Thanh district to notify and find the person who lost it.

Through verification, it was known that the owner is Do Thi Phuong, residing in Phu Phuong 2 hamlet, Phu Nhuan commune, Nhu Thanh district (Thanh Hoa).

Comrade Bui Van Hung - Deputy Political Commissar of Battalion 9, Regiment 3, said: Private Trinh Van Truong is from Cam Yen commune, Cam Thuy district, Thanh Hoa province, and enlisted in February 2016. Coming from a farming family, life was difficult, but when he picked up a wallet from a local, Trinh Van Truong immediately reported it to the unit commander to inform the person who lost it. In addition, during training, Truong always strictly followed the laws of the State, military discipline, the unit's regime, and the commander's orders.

Sharing with us, Trinh Van Truong said: "I come from a farming family, so I understand the difficult circumstances. When I picked up the wallet, I thought of it as if it were a family member who had lost it: "No matter how big or small the property is, if you pick up something lost, you must return it to the owner. I and my teammates will do the same."
