Soldier of the 324th Division returns lost property.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 19th, while on his way to the training ground, Private Trinh Van Truong - Squad 3, Platoon 7, Company 11, Battalion 9, Regiment 3, Division 324 (Military Region 4), found a wallet containing over 2 million VND in Phu Phuong 2 Hamlet, Phu Nhuan Commune, Nhu Thanh District, Thanh Hoa Province.

Upon checking the wallet, Trinh Van Truong found the identity card of Do Thi Phuong - from Phu Nhuan commune, Nhu Thanh district (Thanh Hoa province), along with some other personal documents and over 2 million VND in cash. He promptly reported this to his unit commander to coordinate with the police and the people's government of Phu Nhuan commune, Nhu Thanh district, to announce and search for the owner.

Verification revealed that the owner is Do Thi Phuong, residing in Phu Phuong 2 hamlet, Phu Nhuan commune, Nhu Thanh district (Thanh Hoa province).

Comrade Bui Van Hung - Deputy Political Officer of Battalion 9, Regiment 3, said: Private Trinh Van Truong, from Cam Yen commune, Cam Thuy district, Thanh Hoa province, enlisted in February 2016. Coming from a farming family, life was difficult, but when he found a wallet belonging to a local resident, Trinh Van Truong immediately reported it to his unit commander so that the owner could be notified. In addition, during training, Truong always conscientiously abided by state laws, military discipline, unit regulations, and the orders of his commanders.

Sharing with us, Trinh Van Truong said: "I myself come from a farming family, so I understand the difficult circumstances. When I found the wallet, I thought of it as if a family member had lost something: 'Whether the property is big or small, if you find something lost, you must return it to the owner. I and my teammates would do the same.'"
