Vice President Harris's victory may be a better option for Palestine, actively supporting U.S. policy based on the two-state solution principle.

According to RIA Novosti, Palestine's permanent observer to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, said that the victory of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential election could be a better option for Palestine than the return of Republican candidate Donald Trump to the White House.
Observer Mansour noted that former President Trump, during his time in office, did many things that harmed the "Palestinian cause," such as moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
"There is another candidate, Kamala Harris... we hope that perhaps if she wins, she will be more sensitive to the global picture and play a very strong, active role in implementing US policy based on the two-state solution principle," observer Mansour said at a press conference at the United Nations on November 1.
According to Reuters, Vice President Harris has recently become increasingly critical of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for failing to protect Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Harris has expressed greater sympathy for the Palestinian people, but has not proposed any significant changes to the policies of the Joe Biden administration.
As the election approached, contradictory advertisements were aired. One ad highlighted the message: "Kamala Harris supports Israel," while another claimed the US Vice President "is campaigning for Palestine but doesn't acknowledge it." This campaign was seen as aiming to deepen divisions regarding Vice President Harris's stance on Israel. Additionally, it was considered designed to stir up public division in the US over the conflicts between Israel and Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, while also exploiting racial and religious tensions within American society.
