On the afternoon of July 1st, Nghe An province reported 3 new cases of Covid-19, including one 7-day-old patient.
(Baonghean.vn) - All three patients are close contacts (F1) who have been quarantined, including one patient who is only 7 days old. In addition, there is one patient in Que Phong district who has tested positive again.
On the afternoon of July 1st, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control, reported that from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on July 1st, 2021, Nghe An province detected 3 new positive cases. All 3 cases are F1 contacts and had been quarantined beforehand.

First new positive caseThe patient is V.D.L, male, born in 1984, a wholesale market trader, residing in Tan Phuong block, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city. Patient V.D.L is the husband of patient LTPN, who was previously announced. On June 24th, patient V.D.L was quarantined at Vinh Plaza Hotel and tested negative for the first time. On June 30th, the patient tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Second new positive casePatient NTT, female, born in 1950, works as a treasurer at a cooperative, residing in Tan Phuong block, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city. Patient NTT is the mother-in-law of patient LTPN, who was previously announced. On June 24th, patient NTT was quarantined at Vinh Plaza Hotel and tested negative for the first time. On June 30th, the patient tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Third new positive caseThe patient is the son of the previously announced patient PTT, male, born on June 25, 2021 (7 days old), residing in Truong Phu hamlet, Nghi Truong commune, Nghi Loc district. The patient was born at Nghe An General Hospital. During his stay at the hospital, he shared a room with the previously announced patient LVG. On June 28, the patient was isolated at home and tested negative. On July 1, a second sample was taken, confirming a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Additionally, in the past 12 hours, one case of re-positive testing was detected in Que Phong district, originating from Bac Giang province. The patient is LVT, male, born in 1988, a worker residing in Cam Muon commune, Que Phong district. Patient LVT contracted Covid-19 in Bac Giang, received treatment with two negative test results, and returned to his locality for continued isolation and monitoring. On June 23rd, the patient was isolated at the Que Phong District Ethnic Boarding School and tested negative the first time. On June 30th, a second sample was taken, confirming a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
As of now, Nghe An province has detected 105 positive cases of Covid-19, including: Vinh City: 68 cases, Dien Chau: 15 cases, Tan Ky: 1 case, Quy Hop: 5 cases, Nam Dan: 4 cases, Do Luong: 1 case, Hoang Mai: 2 cases, Nghia Dan: 1 case, Nghi Loc: 4 cases and Quynh Luu: 4 cases.
